In the late 1960s, Theodoros Klitsidis, alongside running a grocery store, took up beekeeping, producing honey for the village of Ivira and the surrounding area.

Alexandros Klitsidis established Honey Ivira in its current form. 

The knowledge he inherited from his father, combined with his passion for beekeeping, resulted in a modern beekeeping enterprise that respects traditional practices.
